INTRO AND HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
Having my mother's leadership example in our community as I grew up in Bulgaria has certainly given me a solid foundation and shaped my vision of community involvement.
EDUCATIONAL JOURNEY
Having been born and raised in Bulgaria (Eastern Europe) and experiencing my K-12 education in a European Country with a very different education system.
My Why
Having been an elementary teacher for 15 years has given me a perspective that drives my why I am running for school board.
Filled with Gratitude
40 Campaign signs delivered and a new 3' x 5' banner installed. Keep spreading the word! I appreciate your donations!
Thank you!
Donations and Spreading the Word
We need more donations to help spread the word about this campaign in the community! Yard signs are coming! The League of Women Voters in Mt. Pleasant is also putting on a forum on Sep. 30th at 6:30 pm in the City Commission Chamber at Mt. Pleasant City Hall (320 Broadway St.)
Collaboration Introduction
Margarita Wilson and Nathan Tomson, another school board candidate for MPPS, are collaborating on this short video. They attended the Mt. Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Daybreak Event on the State of Education in our Community and are sharing their quick positive takeaways and a wish they'd like to hear more about in the future.
Voting Dates and Farmer's Market
Margarita Wilson and Nathan Tomson wanted to share some important voting information and dates with you and invite you to stop by and talk to us tomorrow at the Farmers Market in downtown Mt. Pleasant! We will be there from 4-6 pm and hope to see you there! (We actually tried to go to the Farmer's Market on the announced day; however, the event coordinators don't allow political affiliations to solicit during the event.)
League of Women Voters - Forum
Margarita Wilson, Nathan Tomson, and Niki Bicking are three MP school board candidates who agreed to participate in a forum organized by the nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Mt. Pleasant. Watch how these three candidates answer the panel and audience's questions.
